Privacy Policy
This policy explains how personal data is processed on this website, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Italian Personal Data Protection Code (Legislative Decree 196/2003).
1. Data controller
Sara Aliscioni, photographer — Rome, Italy. Email: info@saraaliscioni.com
2. Browsing data
This is a static website hosted on GitHub Pages, a service of GitHub, Inc. (88 Colin P. Kelly Jr. Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When you visit it, the hosting provider automatically processes the technical data needed to deliver the pages and to keep the service secure — such as IP address, browser type, page requested, date and time — in its server logs.
The data controller has no access to these logs and does not use them to identify visitors. Legal basis: legitimate interest in running a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). GitHub processes this data under its own Privacy Statement; transfers to the United States are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or standard contractual clauses.
3. Contact form and emails
The contact form does not send any data to this website or to third-party services: when you press “Send”, your own email program opens with the message already filled in, and nothing is sent until you send it yourself.
The data you send by email (name, email address, subject, message and anything else you choose to include) is received in the controller’s mailbox (email service provided by Aruba S.p.A., Italy) and is used only to reply to you and to handle your request. Legal basis: replying to your request and taking steps at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The data is kept for as long as needed to handle the request and any follow-up, and is then deleted, unless the law requires it to be kept longer. Please do not send special categories of data (e.g. health data).
4. Cookies, statistics and third-party content
This website does not use cookies, statistics, advertising or profiling tools. Fonts, images and videos are served from the website itself, and no external content (social plugins, maps, embedded videos) is loaded. See the Cookie Policy.
5. Links to social networks and other websites
The website contains simple links to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Behance and to external articles. Those services receive your data only if you click a link and visit them, under their own privacy policies.
6. People portrayed in the photographs
The photographs on this website are artistic and documentary works (reportage, street photography, portraiture), published in the exercise of artistic expression under Art. 85 GDPR and Articles 136–139 of the Italian Personal Data Protection Code, in compliance with the applicable rules of conduct. If you recognise yourself — or a person you legally represent, such as your child — in a photograph and would like it to be removed or obscured, please write to info@saraaliscioni.com: your request will be assessed and handled promptly.
7. Recipients
Personal data is not sold or disclosed to third parties. It is processed only by the technical providers mentioned above (GitHub for hosting, Aruba for email), under their terms.
8. Your rights
Under Articles 15–22 GDPR you can ask for access to your data, its rectification or erasure, the restriction of processing and data portability, and you can object to processing, by writing to info@saraaliscioni.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).

Informativa privacy
1. Titolare del trattamento
Sara Aliscioni, fotografa — Roma, Italia. Email: info@saraaliscioni.com
5. Link a social network e altri siti
7. Destinatari
8. I tuoi diritti
